Dance Instructor

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dance Instructor based in the Greater Chattanooga area. The Dance Instructor will lead classes in various dance styles, create choreographies, and mentor students to develop their technical skills and artistry. The role involves planning lessons, ensuring progress, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, and participating in performances, events, or festivals as needed. This role also involves contributing to the growth and development of the dance program and the overall mission of the organization.

• Strong competence in various dance styles, choreography creation, and performance skills
• Excellent teaching and group instruction abilities, including the ability to engage and inspire students
• Organizational and lesson-planning skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentorship capabilities
• Prior experience in teaching dance or performance-based education is preferred
• Flexibility with schedules for practice, classes, and events
