Systems Administrator, IT Support
Job Summary
The IT Services Specialist is a key member of the Mueller Water Products IT team, providing essential technical support and services to our user community in Cleveland, TN. The role includes diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide dedicated technical support to Executive staff, including the C‑Suite, ensuring prompt issue resolution and optimal technology performance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents for company‑issued equipment, peripherals, conference room technology, and network connectivity.
- Install and configure IT hardware and software, performing routine maintenance and updates.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and network issues to maintain business continuity.
- Follow standard operating procedures for service desk operations, tracking, routing, and documenting incidents using Service Now or similar ITSM platforms.
- Manage technical onboarding for new hires, including device configuration and workspace setup.
- Provide onsite and remote IT support for manufacturing and production environments, understanding unique operational challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support role with a proven ability to resolve a wide range of technical issues.
- Experience supporting executive teams with strong communication skills and discretion.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems, and experience in IT Asset Management.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) best practices and hands‑on experience with the Service Now platform (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL) are preferred.
