- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC); - Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN Experience
- Preferred Experience:
TNCC certification - Ideal Candidate:
Able to pick up 2 shifts per week, work 2 weekends every 6 weeks, and 1 major + 1 minor holiday annually. - Required Immunizations: MMR, Varicella or Declination, Hep B or Declination, Flu or Declination, TB
- What you will be doing:
- Emergency Room RNs deliver rapid, high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced setting. Daily responsibilities include triaging incoming patients, assessing symptoms, and prioritizing care based on severity. RNs administer medications, start IVs, monitor vitals, and assist physicians with procedures like intubations, wound care, and cardiac events. They document patient histories, coordinate with specialists, and prepare patients for admission, transfer, or discharge. Strong clinical judgment, multitasking, and composure under pressure are essential daily demands.
