Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
to join our team in Cleveland, TN. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products by coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations. - Coordinate and oversee daily shipping and receiving activities
- Schedule customer pickups and ensure timely shipments
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing lists
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality
- Maintain inventory records and update databases as needed
- Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries
- Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies or delivery issues
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist with training and supervising shipping and receiving personnel
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory control preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with inventory management systems and shipping documentation is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
