Intervention Specialist, Kids First/TOPS Program
Term: School Year Qualifications and Possible Job
Duties Include:
Bachelor's Degree in Intervention Specialist required (Moderate to Intensive preferred) Valid Ohio certificate/license required Previous experience in working with students diagnosed with Autism preferred Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings Alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Work effectively with children diagnosed with special needs and behavior challenges in an alternative educational program Work effectively with a variety of related service personnel in providing educational programming to students diagnosed with ASD Provides for individual differences through an individualized educational program that is evidenced in daily planning, class activities, and assessment goals Provide appropriate educational activities and opportunities for children with a goal of enhancing their educational, social, and emotional growth Maintains effective communication and collaboration with administration, district of residence, and families concerning matters related to students in the program All other duties as assigned Salary:
