LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client in Colerain Township, Ohio to hire a Payroll & Accounts Payable Clerk. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in both payroll processing and accounts payable. The successful candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Review employee time records and ensure payroll data is complete and accurate
  • Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll-related inquiries
  • Verify payroll deductions, benefits, and tax with holdings
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment issues
  • Generate payroll and accounts payable reports as needed
  • Support other accounting and administrative functions as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 3-4 years of recent payroll and accounts payable experience required
  • Experience processing payroll for multiple employees in a high-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll procedures, taxes, and deductions
  • Experience with invoice processing, vendor management, and account reconciliation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee and financial information
  • High school diploma required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
