Machine Operator

The position is Machine Operator – 1st Shift based in Cleves, OH. The role involves operating CNC press brake machines, saws, and CNC machining equipment to produce quality parts. The job works Monday – Thursday from 5 am to 3:00 pm.

The Machine Operator / Brake Press Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of CNC press brake operations, saw and CNC machining. Duties include ensuring parts meet dimensional, angular, material gauge, and type specifications, maintaining a clean and orderly department, performing preventive maintenance, and bending, forming, stretching, notching, punching, or straightening metal as required.

• Produce quality parts using the brake press machine (verify dimensions, angles, material gauge and type).
• Produce quality parts using CNC machining (verify dimensions, angles, material gauge and type).
• Produce quality parts using the saw (verify dimensions, angles, material gauge and type).
• Maintain a clean and orderly department – garbage and scrap removal, sweeping, wiping down machines.
• Perform operator preventive maintenance on machines as needed.
• Bend, form, stretch, notch, punch and straighten metal to meet job requirements and quality on part.
• Set stops on machine bed, change dies, and adjust components as needed.
• Plan sequence of operations to achieve desired results.
• Measure work pieces and inspect for defects.
• Maintain reliable and regular attendance.

• Previous experience in manufacturing/production or similar environment required.
• Previous experience in a machine operator role, such as CNC machinery, brake presses, and/or saws.
• Must be able to work well with others, jump in where needed, and lead by example.
