The Machine Operator (Laser Operator) is responsible for manufacturing metal products using laser machines, cutting, punching, and welding materials. The role involves maintaining equipment, ensuring productivity, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Follow production schedule and achieve productivity and efficiency goals.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, including basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate inventory of raw and drop materials.
• Cross‑train into other areas to fill day hours as necessary.
• Perform standard laser cutting and welding operations.
• Select proper cutting and welding programs and fixtures.
• Establish proper stop location and adjust laser beam focal point.
• Set up for cutting and welding operations.
• Perform prescribed maintenance as required.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.

• Previous experience in manufacturing/production or a similar environment preferred.
• Maintains reliable and regular attendance.
• Ability to work 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday 3:00 pm–1:00 am.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during the work shift.
