Job SummaryGeneral Laborers will be based at the Cleves location and will work Monday–Thursday 5am–3pm. Responsibilities include cleaning/deburring parts, assisting the laser operator in unloading parts, keeping the shop organized, supporting the shop wherever needed, and reporting to the Welding Supervisor as a secondary Supervisor.
Job Duties- Identify part quality and address any poor-quality parts.
- Perform laser clean‑up as needed.
- Handle material as needed.
- Follow equipment care procedures (forklift, edge rounders).
- Match paperwork with parts (knowledge of how to read notice blueprints).
- Clock in/scan jobs out after processing and counting to ensure accuracy.
- Move parts through the shop to the next appropriate work sequence.
- Maintain reliable and regular attendance.
- Remain alert and attentive during work shift.
- Communicate with the production team on job progress, questions, and concerns.
- High school diploma (or in progress for vocational welding students).
- Experience using measuring tools, such as tape measures and calipers (preferred).
- Ability and willingness to learn to read routers, blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
