RN - Supervisor

This position directs and supervises Nursing Services during assigned shift. The clinical nursing supervisor coordinates the delivery of care rendered by nursing staff and other hospital departments. This position also functions as an administrative representative in the absence of the CNO and is responsible for the operational aspects of the medical center while on duty with responsibility to interpret risk management issues and ensures compliance with current medical center policies and procedures.

This position requires participation in all infection control, departmental equipment training, and organizational safety and fire safety programs. The clinical nursing supervisor assists in training nursing personnel and provides input in job evaluations and performance analysis.
