The Supervisor Telecommunication oversees a team of Telecommunications responsible for answering the phone, greeting callers, establishing the reason for calling, and resolving issues by contacting the appropriate person who can help the customer.

• Operates a Centralized PABX Communication System, answering the calls with the Hospital’s approved script and provides general information in response of question from the caller.
• Maintains call operator database by entering and verifying information; updating contact log.
• Maintaining telephone computerized directory and records to provide accurate information when required.
• Generation of patient’s telephone bills through computerized data after cross checking.
• Responsible to assign the technical complaints to the telecom technician through CMS.
• Provides paging services for hospital staff.
• Operates email  department.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the head of department.
• Responsible to verify the billing of IPD Patient’s communication services provided by the communication department of the Hospital.
• Managing of staff duties to get maximum productivity of the staff and controls overtime.
• Ensures stationary supplies are available for smooth running of the department.
• Provides training and developing of juniors with technical expertise for the usage of PABX System & Audiovisual System.
• Knowledge of a variety of PABX Communication system.
• Knowledge of in-house telephone wiring systems
• Familiarity with all part time and full time hospital staff
