Responsible for answering the phone, greeting callers, establishing reason for calling, and resolving issue by contacting appropriate person that can help the customer.

• Maintenance of Notice board
• Responsible to play centralized relaxing musical themes with the gap of prayer timings.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the head of department.
• Ensures stationary supplies are available for smooth running of the department.
• Operates a Centralized PABX Communication System, answering calls with Hospital’s script for external callers i.e. “Asalamo Alaikum Ziauddin Hospital” & for internal callers, “Operator, may I help you?” & end with
• Provides general information in response of question from the caller.
• Maintains call operator database by entering and verifying information; updating contact log.
• Maintaining computerized telephone directory and records to provide accurate information when required
• Provides paging services for Hospital staff.
• Maintaining the telephone bills and taking steps to reduce it.
• Get updates about the leaves of doctors and OPD schedule timings through E-mails and or through direct contact.
