RF Field Engineer

C Squared Systems, LLC is a consulting and software development company specializing in RF engineering, DAS systems and Wi‑Fi network design and deployment.

• Takes the lead on system commissioning, integration and activation.
• Performs system tests using scanners, spectrum analyzers, transmitters and other electronic test equipment.
• Conducts site surveys and detailed walkthroughs.
• Hands‑on work with antennas, fiber optics, coaxial cable and RF amplifiers.
• Troubleshoots and repairs systems for optimal performance.
• Applies RF principles and theory (signal path, power, frequency, noise, modulation, etc.).
• Multi‑tasks on projects day‑to‑day.
• Maintains test equipment and tools for continuous use.
• Travels to various job sites within Maryland and neighboring regions (DC, Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware).

• 2‑year college degree (preferably technical) with relevant coursework.
• 2+ years of related experience, including DAS architecture and other cellular systems.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies such as CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, LTE.
• Strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn and advance.
• Comfortable working in high‑pressure situations.
• Ability to receive and give direction as needed.
• Knowledge of RF optimisation techniques and best practices.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Self‑motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Team‑player comfort and strong written/verbal English communication skills.
