This is a Construction Management Internship rfab, with over 120 years of experience, offers extensive fabrication and construction capabilities across various sectors including chemical, food & beverage, oil & gas, heavy industrial, and power industries. Dating back to 1901, the company initially produced sealants and lacquers, evolving into an industry leader known for its expanded capabilities, project experience, strong safety record, and unwavering commitment to quality in shop fabrication, field erection, and construction and maintenance services.

• Role:
  Internship
• Mission:
  This role is designed to support active construction projects by assisting with technical and commercial documentation, cost estimating, RFI/submittal processes, and project closeout procedures, while also contributing to safety and quality management.
• Tech Stack:
  Bluebeam, CAD, Microsoft Office, Excel

• Blueprint Reading:
  Utilize computer programs like Bluebeam and CAD to interpret both 2D and 3D drawings relevant to projects.
• Project Execution:
  Collaborate with the Project Team to create necessary technical and commercial documents that facilitate the execution of ongoing construction projects.
• Cost Estimating:
  Provide support to lead estimators in the development of project estimates for potential new opportunities.
• RFI/Submittal Processes:
  Compile and provide appropriate documentation, including specific specifications, drawings, and scope of work, to support various departments.
• Project Closeout Procedures:
  Assist in collecting essential documents, reviewing change orders and modifications, confirming adherence to order specifications, and gathering key takeaways for future learning.

• Background:
  Currently enrolled and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• Experience:
  
  Proficiency in Windows applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Skills:
  
  Self‑motivation, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity for thorough attention to detail.
