Location:
Clifton, NJ, United States
Salary: $75,000.00 | Full-Time
An established precision manufacturing company specializing in complex metal components for highly regulated industries is seeking a Process Engineer to support continuous improvement initiatives within its production environment. This organization offers a collaborative culture focused on innovation, operational excellence, quality, and safety. Open to local candidates only.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Process Engineer- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related engineering field
- Minimum 3+ years of process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in aluminum manufacturing, metal casting, or metals industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of process control, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency with engineering and process simulation tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar software
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
- Implement process enhancements to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot production and equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and support operations
- Lead process improvement and continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation
- Develop and modify manufacturing processes to meet production goals and customer specifications
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to monitor trends and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements
- Support the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
- Assist with training staff on safety protocols and process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related engineering field
- Minimum 3+ years of process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in aluminum manufacturing, metal casting, or metals industry preferred
