Engineering Manager; Plastic Injection Molding

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead new product development programs from project award through production launch and handoff to Manufacturing. This role will oversee Engineering, Project Management, and Tool Room operations while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with customer and quality requirements.

• Lead full product lifecycle projects, including engineering, tooling, validation, and production readiness.
• Manage Engineering, Project Management, and Tool Room teams.
• Oversee tooling builds, repairs, automation, and process validation activities.
• Support quoting, technical reviews, manufacturability assessments, and customer interactions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ITAR, and customer requirements.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in injection molding, MIM, CNC machining, tooling, and automation.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in injection molding, MIM, CNC machining, or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong background in tooling, mold design, DFM, GD&T, FMEA, and validation processes.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering teams and new product launches.
• Experience with ERP systems, project management, and manufacturing operations.

• PMP or Master's degree.
• Experience in medical device, aerospace, or defense manufacturing environments.
• Background in automation and robotics integration.
