Compliance Consultant (Testing)
Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
We are seeking a Compliance Consultant to support the Compliance Monitoring & Testing function by executing compliance reviews, monitoring remediation efforts, and enhancing compliance frameworks. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience within regulated environments, and the ability to work independently while partnering with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Execute compliance testing reviews and support delivery of the annual Compliance Testing Plan
- Track, validate, and monitor corrective action plans to ensure timely remediation of issues
- Partner with stakeholders to develop monitoring inventories, standards, and risk-based monitoring activities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including enhancement of testing methodologies and compliance technology solutions
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant compliance, audit, or risk certification preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in Compliance Testing, Compliance Monitoring, Internal Audit, or Risk Management
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk management practices, and regulatory expectations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with GRC platforms such as Archer is preferred
- Experience developing or executing second-line compliance monitoring and testing programs
- Background within financial services, banking, capital markets, or other regulated industries
- Experience supporting regulatory examinations or interacting with regulators
- Strong stakeholder management, reporting, and analytical problem-solving skills
