Job OverviewThe Manager, Government Pricing and Rebates, is responsible for leading and managing the organization’s government pricing, rebate, and compliance activities across federal and state programs. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Sales Operations, this role serves as a key subject‑matter expert on government pricing methodologies and regulations, ensuring accurate reporting, financial integrity, and adherence to evolving compliance requirements. The position partners cross‑functionally and with external vendors to support pricing strategy, maintain operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment.
This position is based in East Windsor, NJ with one (1) day a week remote.
Responsibilities Government Pricing & Compliance- Lead all Government Pricing (GP) activities across Medicaid, Medicare, and other federal/state programs.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert on GP methodologies, including AMP, ASP, Best Price (BP), 340B Ceiling Price, Non‑FAMP, and FCP calculations.
- Partner closely with third‑party GP vendor to:
- Oversee monthly and quarterly pricing calculations, validation, and submissions.
- Review and approve government pricing outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Support system updates, assumptions, and data governance controls.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including CMS and HRSA requirements.
- Manage Medicaid Drug Rebate Program (MDRP) responsibilities:
- Review, validate, and process, state Medicaid rebate invoices.
- Ensure timely payment and dispute resolution with state agencies.
- Track and report rebate activity and liability accruals.
- Maintain audit readiness by supporting internal and external audits, and documentation related to GP calculations and submissions.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Finance regarding pricing decisions and implications related to government programs.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and internal controls within GP operations.
- Serve as a key stakeholder in product launches, ensuring accurate GP setup and compliance readiness.
- Support development, submission, and ongoing management of Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), VA, and DOD contracts.
- Monitor compliance with FCP and contract pricing requirements, including price reporting and recalculations.
- Partner cross‑functionally (Legal, Finance, Commercial) to evaluate pricing decisions and contract implications.
- Coordinate with third‑party vendors to ensure compliance with state drug price transparency laws, including:
- Overseeing timely and accurate submission of required state‑level pricing disclosures and reporting.
- Monitoring evolving legislation and assessing business impact on pricing and reporting processes.
- Interpret and apply contractual terms related to rebates, administrative fees, distribution/service fees, and chargebacks.
- Review and approve third‑party fee calculations and payment requests for accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with Global Shared Services to track, analyze, and report all rebate and fee activity, ensuring proper accruals and financial visibility.
