Your role will sit within the Barclays' broader Collateral Management organization, and you will play a critical role in risk management for prime brokerage clients. You'll be responsible for monitoring trading exposure with counter parties and ensuring appropriate collateral is collected and maintained to mitigate risk.
In this highly client-facing position, you will partner closely with external clients and internal stakeholders, including Prime Brokerage, Settlements, and Operations teams, to manage margin calls, validate exposure calculations, resolve operational and technology-related issues, and ensure client requests are handled efficiently. As part of a global organization with teams across Whippany, London, India, and Singapore, your role offers broad international collaboration while supporting sophisticated prime brokerage clients with bespoke and often highly sensitive requirements.

To be successful in your role as Collateral Management Analyst - Prime Margin, you should have:
Financial Services (Operations)
Middle office experience
Risk and Controls experience
Collateral Management (preferred)
Other highly valued skills may include:
Prime brokerage experience
Margins experience
Cash wires and payments experience

This role is located in Whippany, NJ.
This role is regulated by FINRA.
Minimum Salary: $64,000.00
Maximum Salary: $87,000.00
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the roleTo support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities- Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
- Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- To perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.
- Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertise
- Thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise
