- Conduct surveillance of Asset Backed Finance (ABF) assets
- Monitor ABF transactions at the deal level against structural features and PGIM underwriting assumptions
- Track collateral performance trends and translate loan-level performance into deal-level implications
- Follow and interpret transaction events, including amendments, restructurings, and servicer changes
- Produce surveillance summaries highlighting performance trends and forward-looking considerations
- Handle ad hoc surveillance requests
- Partner with the ABF Deal Team to develop and standardize issuer reporting packages
- Partner with technology teams to improve automated surveillance coverage and escalation practices
- Engage with external parties to obtain and interpret transaction-level information
- Support portfolio reviews, risk discussions, and internal inquiries with analysis-driven insight
- Identify and elevate collateral-integrity or cash-reconciliation anomalies and potential data-integrity risks
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in securitized products with exposure to a wide range of asset classes
- Demonstrated ability to monitor securitized products performance at the deal level and loan level
- Experience reviewing periodic transaction reporting, including periodic trustee reporting and ongoing miscellaneous deal notices
- Strong understanding of Intex and Bloomberg
- Programming and data visualization skills required
- Ability to leverage AI to build efficient systems analyzing Bloomberg, Intex, dv01, and bespoke issuer reporting
- Detail-oriented and analytical, comfortable managing recurring surveillance deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate performance views clearly to portfolio managers, traders, research colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
Demonstrates expertise in monitoring and analyzing Asset Backed Finance (ABF) transactions and performance, leveraging tools like Intex and Bloomberg for data-driven insights. Capable of producing detailed surveillance summaries and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting and surveillance processes.
