ScheduleSunday to Thursday:
Sunday: 4pm-12:30am and Monday-Friday: 9am-5:30pm. You will be training Monday to Friday, but will eventually transition to Sunday to Thursday.
$30 – $40/hr. on W2. (OT after 40 hrs.)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join a dynamic clinical laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory testing, analyzing specimens, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results in a high-quality environment.
- Perform routine and complex laboratory tests on patient specimens
- Handle specimen processing, analysis, and result reporting
- Review and validate test results for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) standards
- Follow all laboratory protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements (CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or elevate when needed
- Document all testing activities, maintenance, and corrective actions
- Communicate critical or abnormal results to appropriate personnel
- Participate in training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred
- Experience in high-complexity testing environments is a plus
- Familiarity with laboratory systems and multiple testing platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- OR Associate degree in Laboratory Science with relevant experience
- Certification (or eligibility) from recognized organizations such as ASCP or AMT preferred
