Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Solutions Architect who brings together product thinking and technical architecture to design and deliver scalable digital solutions. This role will lead Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives, shape product strategy, and define cloud-native architectures that improve speed, quality, and reliability across the product development lifecycle. You will work at the intersection of business, product, and engineering, translating market needs into actionable solutions and ensuring delivery aligns with both customer expectations and enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities Product & Business Strategy- Lead PLM initiatives to accelerate product delivery and improve quality and reliability
- Define product and solution strategies aligned with business goals and customer needs
- Translate market insights and customer feedback into features, requirements, and trade-offs
- Own and manage the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business outcomes
- Design and govern end-to-end cloud-native solutions (microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures)
- Provide hands‑on guidance on modern cloud technologies (containers, serverless, messaging, data platforms)
- Lead solution reviews across internal teams and external vendors
- Drive POCs and innovation initiatives, including emerging technologies (GenAI, Agentic AI)
- Define reliability, availability, and performance standards, partner with QA for execution
- Establish compliance and testing frameworks aligned with enterprise and industry standards
- Drive architecture governance, ensuring adherence to security, data, and integration best practices
- Lead code/design reviews to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to embed domain expertise into solutions
- Communicate roadmaps, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels
- Facilitate workshops and mentor teams on product, architecture, and logistics concepts
- Drive continuous improvement through metrics, instrumentation, and feedback loops
- 15+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years in cloud architecture and implementation
- Proven experience in solution architecture and product/platform delivery
- Strong leadership across product, engineering, and business teams
- Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong knowledge of microservices & API‑driven architectures, event‑driven systems (queues, messaging, streaming), containers & orchestration, serverless computing (e.g., Lambda/Functions), cloud databases and storage (e.g., Aurora, Cosmos DB, S3, Blob)
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
- Good understanding of security, data, and integration strategies
- Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience in transportation & logistics platforms and operations
- Exposure to PLM systems and digital product lifecycle environments
- Experience with Generative AI / Agentic AI use cases
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s strongly preferred.

Salary & CompensationApplications will be accepted until May 15th, 2026. The annual salary for this position is between $81,450.00 – $, depending on experience and other qualifications.
IncentivesEligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, subject to applicable plan terms.
