DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

The Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, developing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and ensuring system compliance and security. This role involves automating processes to improve development efficiency, conducting root cause analysis for production issues, and integrating AWS and Azure services into existing infrastructure. The Dev Ops Engineer will collaborate with development teams to implement new features while ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Monitor system performance and manage source code, ensuring operations reports are accurate.
• Ensure systems are updated, compliant with standards, and secure against cyber threats.
• Develop and maintain on‑premises tooling solutions.
• Automate processes to enhance development efficiency and outcomes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new software features.
• Oversee the integration of AWS and Azure services into the existing infrastructure.
• Ensure software development follows best practices and established processes.

• Knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud Platforms and associated services - Basic
• Expertise in various project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum to effectively plan, execute, and close projects - Basic
• Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs), understanding of security concepts (access control, authentication, encryption), and proficiency in managing network threats and security solutions (intrusion detection systems, firewalls, Anti‑DDOS Protection, Threat Management Protection, Content Filtering, Ingress/Egress management) - Basic
• Ability to utilize version control systems such as Git and Azure Dev Ops effectively - Basic
• Competence in managing and maintaining Active Directory, AWS, VMware, and Windows Server platforms - Basic
• Ability to effectively utilize tools such as Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Splunk, Git, Code Commit, and/or Sonar Source for development and operational processes - Basic
• Ability to design, develop, and integrate APIs to enable seamless communication between software applications and services - Basic

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
• 1-3 years of experience in cloud computing required
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role required
• 1-3 years of experience in AWS or Azure preferred

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000 - $145,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
