About the PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer II to join our growing IT team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cloud-first environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while acting as a key escalation point.
In this position, you will bridge the gap between IT support and infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams on both day-to-day support and strategic initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring a seamless experience for a hybrid and remote workforce, while contributing to automation, security, and continuous improvement efforts.
This role is based on-site with minimal travel required.
What You’ll Do- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues across Windows, macOS, and cloud environments
- Provide advanced end-user support for Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ), and SaaS applications
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to long-term solutions
- Troubleshoot and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Autopilot, and hybrid identity environments
- Assist with Active Directory, server maintenance, and cloud networking
- Diagnose networking issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Manage devices and users in hybrid environments using Intune and MDM tools
- Support Office 365 ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive, Exchange Online)
- Maintain endpoint configurations and optimize user experience
- Implement and maintain zero-trust security policies
- Support compliance initiatives aligned with NIST, CIS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, phishing attempts, and vulnerabilities
- Automate IT processes using Power Shell, Python, or Bash
- Enhance ITSM workflows (e.g., Vivantio) for ticketing and asset tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Participate in IT projects such as cloud migrations and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Dev Ops teams on design, optimization, and continuity planning.
- Maintain knowledge base articles, procedures, and runbooks
- Train end-users and IT staff on tools, best practices, and troubleshooting
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience
- 5–7 years of experience supporting enterprise-level IT environments
- Strong experience in hybrid identity environments (Active Directory + Entra )
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure, AVD, and Intune
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (iOS/Android)
- Scripting experience (Power Shell required; Python/Bash a plus)
- Solid understanding of cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
- Experience with VoIP systems and enterprise telephony
- Exposure to APIs, REST services, and integrations (nice to have)
