Senior Manager, PMO Agile Lead

Partner with Commercialization BI&T leadership to drive transformational initiatives across the Commercialization portfolio. Serve as both Scrum Master and Product Owner, providing end‑to‑end agile leadership across cross‑functional teams.

• Own the full agile delivery lifecycle across one or more work streams, establishing and enforcing best practices, standards, and reporting cadences aligned to PMO governance frameworks.
• Manage Jira backlogs, sprint boards, epics, roadmaps and burndown charts to deliver real‑time project visibility to senior stakeholders and PMO leadership.
• Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and coach teams on Agile principles, fostering continuous improvement.
• Serve as a Jira power user: configure workflows, custom fields, dashboards, automation rules, and integrate Jira with One Plan and other PMO tools.
• Coordinate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration across projects.
• Facilitate retrospectives to identify improvement areas and implement action plans to enhance team performance and agile maturity.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics at both team and portfolio level using Jira and PMO reporting tools.
• Identify potential risks and issues, developing proactive mitigation strategies and resolving issues with urgency and transparency.

• Minimum education:
  
  bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as both a Scrum Master and Product Owner within a PMO structure, successfully delivering complex software development projects.
• Expert‑level proficiency with Jira (backlog management, sprint configuration, workflow automation, advanced reporting).
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and PMO governance best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (CSM, PSM, CSPO, PSPO, PMI‑ACP, PMP).
• Experience with One Plan or similar portfolio‑level tools.
• Pharma commercialization and data experience.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven frameworks and data science tools.

Princeton, NJ, US: $154,280 – $186,945 (base salary). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available.
