This role drives the evolution of ITAM from current-state processes to a scalable, governance-driven operating model managing the full lifecycle—from procurement through disposal—while optimizing cost, compliance, and operational efficiency. The leader partners closely with the ITAM Process Lead and cross‑functional IT teams to modernize workflows within Service Now and elevate ITAM maturity across the organization, with a strong emphasis on advancing both Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead transformation initiatives to evolve ITAM capabilities into an enterprise‑grade operating model.
  • Design and implement end‑to‑end asset lifecycle processes (procurement → inventory → deployment → maintenance → retirement).
  • Build and mature ITAM capabilities across Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and SaaS and cloud asset management.
  • Drive governance and standardization of HAM processes, including inventory accuracy, refresh cycles, and lifecycle controls.
  • Establish and mature SAM capabilities, including license management, compliance, reclamation, and optimization.
  • Own Service Now ITAM strategy, including HAM Pro, SAM Pro, workflow automation, and CMDB integration.
  • Identify and eliminate process gaps; standardize and scale workflows.
  • Partner with the ITAM Process Lead on roadmap development and transformation milestones.
  • Establish governance, policies, and compliance controls.
  • Drive asset data quality, normalization, and visibility improvements.
  • Collaborate across IT, finance, procurement, and security teams.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure performance and maturity.
  • Modernize ITAM practices and embed them into IT operations.
