Position:
Performance Tester
Location:
West Orange, NJ
Duration: 6 months
- The Performance Test Engineer will conduct performance tests on FSAM suite of applications using Load Runner or similar standard tools, measuring performance, generating performance metrics, and working with engineering/development teams to resolve issues. The engineer should understand system monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation of test scenarios simulating production environments.
- Conduct performance testing on FSAM applications.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and generate metrics.
- Work odd hours when needed to support a global team.
- Proactively identify issues and suggest possible solutions.
- Coordinate with enterprise infrastructure teams.
- Perform functional and UAT testing.
- Provide analytical and technical guidance, recommend actions, and plan automation of testing activities.
- Collaborate with project team members to deliver the working solution and test process for the access management solution, and work closely with information security, IT policy owners, end‑user technology specialists, and application architects.
- Minimum 4–8 years overall performance testing experience.
- Minimum 3 years HP Load Runner experience.
- Minimum 2 years HP ALM experience.
- Preferred experience in identity and access management / information security domain.
- In‑depth knowledge and experience with LR scripting.
- Exposure to multiple protocols (web services, ODBC, etc.).
- Experience with MS SQL, Oracle SQL, XML, and shell scripting.
- Server monitoring and analysis skills.
- Strong experience with LDAP, Active Directory, RSA Access Certification.
- Experience with Manager (Aveksa), Dell One Identity Manager, SharePoint, Unix, and Windows Server platforms.
- In‑depth knowledge of identity and access management.
- Experience monitoring and analyzing enterprise infrastructure and extracting meaningful statistics.
- Experience in the financial services sector or another highly regulated sector.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Relevant professional certification is beneficial.
