- Long-term contract position for a Buyer supporting procurement operations and an enterprise ERP implementation at a medical device manufacturer.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries and maintain supplier records in a controlled quality system.
- Gather quotes, compare pricing and support supplier evaluation and qualification activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and drive replenishment activity with the planning team.
- Support data collection, validation and migration across materials management, distribution and warehouse management modules.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules and meeting records for ERP supply chain rollouts.
- Coordinate requirements gathering between supply chain, IT, quality and outside implementation consultants.
- Execute system testing, document process changes and support audit preparation and compliance reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing, materials planning or supply chain experience.
- Purchasing experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical or aerospace.
- Working knowledge of procurement, inventory and logistics processes.
- Hands-on experience with a tier-one ERP platform, SAP S/4
HANA preferred. - Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, lookups and basic data analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 purchasing controls a plus.
- Experience supporting an ERP implementation, migration or upgrade a plus.
