The Opportunity:

Join a leading organization in the Plastics and precision metal and ceramic Product Manufacturing sector, where innovation and precision drive every product. Our client seeks an Engineering Manager to spearhead new product development, tooling, and manufacturing readiness, delivering high‑quality solutions to demanding customers. This role offers the chance to lead cross‑functional teams, shape process excellence, and impact the full product lifecycle from concept to production.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle from award through engineering, tooling, validation, and manufacturing handoff.
• Provide operational oversight of the internal Tool Room, managing capacity, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Own technical execution for injection molding, MIM, CNC machining, automation, and process validation.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Material, process parameters, and handoff packages to ensure seamless transition to production.
• Direct and mentor Project Management resources, setting priorities, performance expectations, and accountability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and customers on quoting, scope definition, and technical reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and risk mitigation while maintaining ISO
  9001 and ITAR compliance.

Must-Have

Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in injection molding, metal injection molding (MIM), or CNC manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage full‑lifecycle product development from concept to production launch.
• Strong expertise in tooling development, mold design, GD&T, DFM, and FMEA methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with process validation, PPAP, and manufacturing handoff documentation.
• Leadership experience overseeing Tool Room operations and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proficiency with CAD software, ERP systems, and project tracking tools.
• Knowledge of ISO
  9001 and ITAR compliance requirements.

Nice-to-Have

Skills:

• Master’s degree or PMP certification.
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or defense.
• Background in automation, robotics, and advanced molding technologies.
• Lean Manufacturing expertise and process improvement certifications.
• Familiarity with advanced simulation and tolerance stack‑up analysis tools.
