Production Manager - Menswear

We are working with a leading apparel company that is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in menswear production, particularly within fast-paced environments serving off-price retailers.

• Manage the full production process for men's apparel from development through final delivery.
• Work closely with overseas factories, vendors, and internal teams to ensure products are produced on time and meet quality and cost expectations.
• Manage production calendars, timelines, purchase orders, costing, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate regularly with factories and vendors regarding production status, approvals, quality issues, and shipping.
• Monitor production milestones and proactively identify and resolve delays or potential issues.
• Review samples, specifications, measurements, and production details to ensure products meet company standards.
• Coordinate with design, merchandising, sales, and sourcing teams throughout the production process.
• Negotiate with vendors and factories when necessary to maintain target costs and delivery schedules.
• Manage multiple programs and production calendars simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Support production for off-price and value-oriented retail customers, understanding the unique speed, pricing, and margin requirements of this channel.
• Maintain strong relationships with domestic and overseas vendors and manufacturing partners.
• Travel internationally when necessary to visit factories and vendors.

• 5+ years of apparel production experience, with a strong focus on menswear.
• Experience working with off-price retailers is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, costing, sourcing, production, quality control, and overseas manufacturing.
• Established relationships with overseas factories and vendors.
• Strong understanding of production timelines and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including design, merchandising, sales, and sourcing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify production issues before they impact delivery.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven apparel environment.

The ideal candidate will come from an apparel manufacturer, importer, or brand with significant experience producing men's apparel for retailers. Candidates who have worked directly with off-price retailers and overseas factories, and who are fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean, will be especially well suited for this opportunity.
