A compassionate and dedicated nurse is needed for the hospice nurse opportunity. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality and care of assigned hospice patients. This opportunity offers $37.00–$45.05 per hour based on experience.

• Assess patient and family educational needs and provide appropriate education.
• Apply nursing principles and techniques in the treatment of patients, providing nursing care, emotional support, and education to patient and family.
• Initiate interdisciplinary plan of care to address PFC needs.
• Provide safe and appropriate patient care in accordance with protocols, policies, procedures, and physician orders.
• Manage medications according to standards.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Implement, evaluate, and revise the plan of care and direct others in its implementation.
• Provide or facilitate emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.
• Participate in the orientation of new employees.
• Supervise all CHHA and volunteers.

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• NJ RN license required; BSN preferred.
• IV and Medical Surgical experience required.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.
