Nursing House Supervisor; Night Shift

Total Compensation: $100k-$135k

Are you a nursing leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? A respected healthcare organization known for compassionate, community-driven care is seeking an experienced Night/House Supervisor to help ensure smooth, safe operations across the facility overnight.

What you’ll be doing:

• Serving as the go-to resource and decision-maker for clinical and operational issues across the facility during night shift
• Overseeing staffing levels and adjusting schedules as needed to maintain safe, appropriate coverage across units
• Acting as a liaison between nursing units, clinical leadership, and ancillary departments to resolve issues in real time
• Monitoring compliance with professional standards and identifying staff education or competency needs
• Investigating and documenting unit occurrences, ensuring timely follow-up and communication
• Supporting quality assurance and performance improvement efforts by identifying patient care issues and helping implement monitors
• Providing leadership during emergencies or crisis situations, including internal/external disaster response
• Supervising staff, including input on hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary matters as needed
• Communicating important updates and best practices to unit staff through meetings and other channels
• Maintaining accurate departmental records and statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes
• Supporting budget awareness and recommending efficiency improvements within nursing operations
• Upholding organizational policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required (MSN preferred)
• Current NJ RN licensure
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• IV certification required
• Comfortable managing emergency/crisis situations and multitasking across departments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to assist with patient handling/transfers as needed
