Key responsibilities include:
- Assessment of youth upon admission and as needed
- Administration of medication
- Document in Electronic MAR.
- Nurse group education with youths.
- Communicate with residential staff and report information for care of youth.
- Document health issues in electronic record
- Arrange medical appointments for the youth.
- Engage with youth during shift.
- Attend Team meetings/Nursing meetings as scheduled.
- Review and audit charts for compliance with Office of Licensing.
- Communicate on Daily Electronic Report for each shift.
- Communicate with Psychiatrist as needed.
- Train staff for in-services as related to care of youth's needs.
- Other assigned duties, assignments and responsibilities as required under scope of professional license.
Part-time
Part-time benefits include:- NJ Earned Sick Time
- Time and one half paid on Agency holidays
Experience:
Minimum of three years’ nursing experience or psychiatric nursing experience. Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required. Experience with children/adolescents.
