We are looking for a Provider Relations & Recruitment Specialist (Eye Care) to help grow the NVA provider network. This role focuses on identifying and recruiting optometrists, ophthalmologists, and eye care practices to join our network.
This is a sales-focused role that involves outbound outreach, building relationships, presenting the benefits of joining NVA, and moving prospective providers through the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and contact optometrists, ophthalmologists, and eye care practices in assigned markets
- Make outbound calls and send emails to prospective providers
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential providers
- Explain the benefits of joining the NVA network and address provider questions
- Follow up with prospects and move them through the recruitment process
- Research markets to identify areas where additional providers are needed
- Track outreach, provider interest, and recruitment activity
- Work with Credentialing, Operations, and Network Management to complete the provider onboarding process
- Maintain accurate provider and recruitment information
- Meet individual and team goals for provider outreach and network growth
- Other responsibilities as needed
- 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, provider relations, or a related role
- Outbound calling and prospecting experience strongly preferred
- Healthcare, insurance, provider recruitment, or network development experience is a plus
- Comfortable making outbound calls and building relationships with new prospects
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week
