Security Officer DoD Secret Clearance

Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required – Unarmed) with a DoD SECRET clearance located at a government site in Clifton, NJ. Temporarily available positions with weekly shifts Monday‑Friday 7am‑3:30pm. Starting pay $25.00 per hour.

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site‑specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense‑cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
