Mechatronics & Robotics Technician - JLL

Mechatronics & Robotics Technician position  will support the Operations & Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, installing, maintaining and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and document findings
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment (belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, etc.)
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all operation facilities
• Track and store department inventory
• Move up to 49 lbs while standing and walking during shifts up to 12 hours
• Travel up to 20% of the time as required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures

• Associate's degree or higher from a vocational school or college with focus in Mechanical or Electrical fields
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
• 1+ year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
• 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment safety standards per OEM and safety standards
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions

• Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking
• Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally up to 49 pounds
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination and wrist motion
• Standing/walking on concrete for shifts of 10+ hours
• Working in small spaces, dust, fumes, hot/cold temperatures, and vibration
• Pushing/pulling wheeled equipment and carts up to 100+ pounds
• Maneuvering awkward or bulky equipment parts

Estimated annual salary: $70,720.00 USD per year.
