LADACIN (Lifetime Assistance for Developmental and Challenging Individual Needs) is a nonprofit organization that has served the community for more than 75 years. LADACIN provides educational, therapeutic, social, residential, and support services to infants, children, and adults with complex physical and developmental disabilities or delays.

Our school program serves students with multiple disabilities through individualized educational and therapeutic programming designed to support each student's growth and development.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to support students and families throughout the educational process. This role is an essential part of our transdisciplinary team and focuses on supporting students' social, emotional, behavioral, and family needs.

• Case management and participation in intake and assessment processes
• Development and implementation of IEP goals and services
• Individual and family counseling
• Coordinating communication between home, school, and community resources
• Providing resources and support to families
• Preparing written reports and maintaining accurate documentation
• Supervising social work students as assigned
• Collaborating with administrators, teachers, therapists, and related service providers

This position may involve moderate to strenuous physical activity including lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and stooping.

• Master's Degree in Social Work required
• Valid NJ Department of Education School Social Worker certification required
• Previous experience working with individuals with multiple or physical disabilities preferred
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, colleagues, families, and community agencies
• Must pass criminal background checks and Department of Education clearance requirements
• Current negative Mantoux test required

$60,000 - $70,000 per hour
