Senior BI & Data Analytics Developer — Qlik, SQL, Cloud

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Applications Developer in Budd Lake, New Jersey. This role is primarily involved in the logistics / transportation industry and will focus on the entire software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and business analysis to the design and development of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, from gathering requirements to designing and developing applications.

• Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies, frameworks and tools to support application development, taking factors such as scalability, performance, and security into account.

• Extract and analyze data from various sources such as SQL Server, csv, and xlsx.

• Develop applications on Qlik Cloud.

• Work in an Agile environment to regularly release software.

• Mentor junior team members in best practices for development.

• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications.

• Use various programming languages and technologies, such as Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Understand, analyze, and work with complex data models using SQL (T-SQL preferred).

• Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Qlik preferred).

• Use Microsoft Office suite or other related technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Senior Applications Developer (transportation industry preferred but not required)

• Proficiency in cloud technologies and database management.

• Experience in handling Database Objects and EO/IR systems.

• Strong skills in Informatica and AB Testing.

• Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI) and creating Business Requirement Documents (Qlik preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to create dashboards and manage data warehousing.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL (T-SQL).

• Expertise in Qlik and Python programming languages.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
