Mid level Fullstack Java developer

Location:

Whippany, NJ (Hybrid)

Bill Rate: $78/hr

• Strong hands-on full stack developer with full SDLC ownership (design, build, test, deploy, and operate)
• Experience working with Java based technologies and modern engineering stacks, including Spring/Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, messaging, SQL, Linux/Unix, CI/CD pipelines, and common design patterns
• Demonstrated hands-on engineering capability with strong code quality, testing discipline, and ability to diagnose issues end-to-end
• Consistently applies TDD/unit testing practices and contributes to automated regression coverage
• Accountability for delivery commitments, including estimating effort, managing dependencies, and delivering to agreed timelines and quality standards
• Effective collaboration across engineering, QA, and product teams, with clear communication to technical and non technical stakeholders and contributions to Agile delivery practices
• Experienced in Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), with strong practices around definition of done, documentation, and continuous improvement
• 5+ years of working experience as a full stack developer

• Investment banking/markets domain experience is preferred
• Experience working with Account Management System, account onboarding/maintenance
• Experience working with Gitlab
