DPW Driver/Skilled Laborer - Mendham Township.
We are seeking qualified candidates for a full‑time public works position. Working under the direction of management, candidates should be able to perform skilled work including maintenance, construction, roadwork, and be proficient in the use of tools and equipment. Duties require physical exertion, manual dexterity, routine use of complex power equipment and trucks on a daily basis. Experience with heavy trucks and snow removal on municipal roadways is a plus.
Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license with a Class B, CDL or the ability to obtain within one year. Candidates must be able to perform manual labor for prolonged periods of time under varying temperatures and conditions. Salary range: $41,000 to $55,000. Any additional licenses such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sewer, mechanical vehicle maintenance, or pesticide work are a plus and will be considered.
