Warehouse Associate I
As a Warehouse Associate I at Benjamin Moore,
you will be responsible for maintaining product quality and service, handling material equipment, fulfilling orders, and ensuring safety in the warehouse environment. The role is scheduled Monday‑Friday 4:00 PM–12:30 AM.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines, using required safety equipment.
- Maintain the highest standards for product quality, service, cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Communicate with supervisor about improvements to job efficiencies.
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet rider, order picker, forklift, reach truck, dock stocker).
- Maintain equipment by checking battery, electrical charge, hook‑up, etc.
- Picks customer orders from inventory, assembles, prepares for loading, and secures pallets using stretch‑wrapping equipment.
- Count cartons or containers to verify accuracy and attach proper identification on shipments.
- Perform all other warehouse functions including receiving, put‑away, replenishment, and truck loading.
- Load delivery vehicles and secure shipments as required.
- Count inventory stock during physical inventory and cross‑check for accuracy.
- Remove damages from stock and process in return goods area.
- Process non‑regulated UPS shipments through UPS World Ship.
- Use warehouse management system scanners and 5S practices.
- Perform other duties as required.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a team environment and be cross‑functional.
- Ability to operate all facility MHE (pallet rider, order picker, forklift, reach truck, dock stocker).
- Attention to detail, accuracy and cleanliness.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
- Ability to work safely and follow SOPs.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Ability to use computer systems and programs.
Starting at USD $21.30 per hour, with a maximum pay range of USD $26.00 per hour. Salary offers are based on skills, experience, and location, and may include performance‑based raises and bonuses.
