Lead Part-Time Dental Assistant - Redwood Dental of Clinton Township

Redwood Dental is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our Clinton Township team! This is a part-time opportunity for a motivated dental assistant who is passionate about patient care, enjoys mentoring others, and thrives in a leadership role. As our Lead Dental Assistant, you will help ensure efficient clinical operations while supporting the doctors, team members, and patients in delivering an exceptional dental experience.

Schedule
  • Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the dental assisting team.
  • Provide chairside assistance while maintaining efficient patient flow.
  • Train and onboard new dental assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
  • Keep operatories fully stocked, organized, and prepared for patient care.
  • Manage clinical inventory and order supplies.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with daily morning huddles and clinical scheduling.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on sterilization and clinical protocols.
  • Support the Office Manager and doctors in achieving production and patient care goals.
  • Address clinical concerns and assist with problem-solving throughout the day.
Qualifications
  • Dental assisting experience required.
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience training and mentoring dental assistants.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Professional, dependable, and accountable.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to lead by example.
