Special Education Paraprofessionals (Teacher's Aide/Paraprofessional)Our Client is seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals in the Clinton Township/Mt. Clemons/Chesterfield area for the 2026/2027 School Year. Paraprofessionals support students with developmental disabilities, working closely with support staff and behavioral coaches to provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support and redirection.
Client’s Available Hours- School Hours - Monday to Friday (Schedules vary by level)
- Competitive compensation starting at $19+ hourly
- Assist student in the general education classroom with note taking, testing, etc.
- Alert regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s)
- Assist with student's participation in small groups of students as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Assist in checking and correction of papers and preparation of materials under the direction of the teacher.
- Assist with audio-visual and computer setups and operation.
- Monitor the instruction activities of the student and assist as appropriate or as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Must have own transportation.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
- Experience working with Special Needs children highly preferred.
- Ability to satisfactorily complete and pass given background checks.
