Position SummaryWe are looking for a passionate and dedicated Pre‑K Teacher who has a heart for children and a love for early childhood education. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and structured classroom while incorporating faith‑based values into daily learning.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Create a structured, nurturing, and positive classroom environment
- Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development
- Incorporate faith‑based principles and positive character building into daily activities
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and expectations
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of all children
- Work collaboratively with staff and administration
- Keep the classroom clean, organized, and prepared
- Complete required assessments and documentation
- Experience working with preschool or Pre‑K children (required)
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for working with children in a faith‑based setting
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Warm, patient, and genuinely caring toward children
- Able to create a balance of structure, learning, and fun
- Strong classroom management with a positive approach
- Communicates clearly with parents, children, and coworkers
- Takes initiative and is willing to help wherever needed
- Organized and able to manage time effectively
- Open to feedback and committed to growth
- Demonstrates positive values and serves as a role model for children
- Frequent tardiness or unreliable attendance
- Difficulty maintaining classroom structure or routines
- Lack of patience or inability to connect with children
- Poor communication with families or team members
- Resistance to feedback or unwillingness to follow curriculum
- Disorganization or incomplete documentation
- Low engagement or lack of enthusiasm in the classroom
- Inability to model positive behavior and values
