EDU Staff Position
Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.
1. Interact and encourage the children in the activities during the day
2. Help the children control behavior using a positive approach
3. Provide nurturing while helping the children become independent
4. Maintain good communication with parents and to help each parent feel at ease at site
5. Assist the teacher in planning activities for the group and to offer suggestions and information about the children
6. Develop a cooperating and supportive attitude within the room
7. Assist the teacher in record keeping by passing on observations regarding the children's health, behavior and development
8. Attend staff meetings and weekly meetings held by teacher
