• Appropriately directs maintenance associates in performing repairs of building and machinery, prioritizing the tasks accordingly and assists in problem solving when necessary to ensure timely repairs are completed.
• Directs all onsite contractors and ensure adherence to all Autokiniton's policies and procedures.
• Requisition s tools, equipment, and supplies for the facility and maintenance group.
• Implement and monitor preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance programs.
• Establish, monitor, and adjust work procedures to meet production goals and maximize equipment uptime.
• Implement and manage continuous improvement techniques to increase efficiency of equipment and maintenance personnel.
• Confer with other members of the management team to coordinate activities of individual departments and manpower.
• Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.)
• Able and willing to work any shift assigned, weekends and overtime
• Regular and predictable attendance required
• Assumes other duties as directed by manager

• Oversees the assignments, development, scheduling, and performance of all maintenance techs, and facilities associates
• Performs all necessary supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel assigned.
• Ensures proper training of personnel.

• Communicates areas of accountability and performance expected of personnel assigned.
• Determines standards of performance as a basis to review progress of personnel assigned.
• Recommends salary adjustments, transfers, promotions and dismissals.

This Full-Time, salary role is a part of our Autokiniton
- Belleville Plant 2 team and reports to the Engineering Manager.

Bachelor's degree (B.

A.) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Select the level of language (ability to read, write and speak needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job).

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
