Location: Clinton Charter Township

A growing precision manufacturing team is seeking a dependable, highly skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to support its CNC department. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for someone who enjoys complex machining work, takes ownership of programming and setups, and consistently produces high-quality parts to tight tolerances.

What You’ll Do
  • Interpret complex blueprints, program sheets, and work instructions.
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, machining centers, and related equipment.
  • Perform precision turning, milling, drilling, boring, and other machining operations.
  • Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
  • Complete machine changeovers, select tooling, and make necessary offsets or adjustments.
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously when production requirements allow.
  • Inspect and gauge parts throughout the process to ensure conformance to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain clean machines, tooling, work areas, and finished parts.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain strong, reliable attendance.
What You Bring
  • At least 5 years of conventional and/or CNC machining experience.
  • At least 3 years of CNC CAM programming experience.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret detailed drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Proven experience with setup, troubleshooting, inspection, and precision measurement.
  • Experience programming in Mastercam is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Okuma and DMG lathes or machining centers is a plus.
  • Multi-axis machining experience is a plus.
  • Vericut programming or simulation experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
