Production Scheduler

A growing custom manufacturer is seeking a Production Planner to help build and standardize its production planning process. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you'll work directly with Operations to improve scheduling, streamline manufacturing processes, and support the company's transition to an ERP system.

• Develop production schedules that support customer delivery commitments.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for both standard and custom products.
• Interpret drawings and perform dimensional calculations to support custom manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate production through multiple manufacturing operations, including sawing, CNC machining, assembly, and packaging.
• Work closely with Operations to monitor schedule performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve production flow.
• Help standardize manufacturing processes as the company transitions from manual scheduling to Epicor ERP.
• Communicate production priorities across multiple departments to keep work moving efficiently.

• Experience in Production Planning, Manufacturing Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control, or a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how work flows through a production facility.
• Experience creating or working with Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Comfortable interpreting drawings and performing dimensional calculations.
• Familiarity with CNC machining, saw operations, setup time, cycle time, or manufacturing equipment.
• ERP experience preferred. Epicor experience is not required.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work within Google Sheets.
