Key

Qualifications:

• Active and current LPN, LVN, or RN license in the state
• Experience in a school or pediatric nursing environment preferred
• Clear communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to assess, triage, and provide appropriate care in routine and urgent health situations
• Strong organizational abilities to maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day medical care and first aid to students
• Administer medications and manage chronic health conditions according to individual health plans
• Promote a healthy school environment through infection control and awareness campaigns
• Provide health education for students and staff on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and safety
• Track immunizations, conduct screenings, and maintain detailed student health records
• Serve as an essential point of contact for parents regarding health concerns
• Partner with educators and administrators to support student attendance and learning
