Key Responsibilities- Supervises and coordinates the activities of quality control inspectors.
- Develops and implements quality control procedures and standards.
- Monitors production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications.
- Investigates and resolves quality-related issues and customer complaints.
- Trains and mentors quality control staff on best practices and new technologies.
- Analyzes quality data and prepares reports for management review.
- Collaborates with other departments to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal quality management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- ASQ Certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, CSSBB)
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 internal auditing or implementation
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience with supplier quality management
